The weather outside doesn’t need to be frightful for diners to get cozy with Mahina & Sun’s this Christmas with executive chef Erik Leong’s just-like-home-cooking comfort food. The three-course menu blends classic fall flavors with Hawai‘i’s seasonal bounty for a festive feast perfect for the holiday season. With all the shopping and hustle and bustle complete, guests can relax and enjoy a menu including succulent roast duck dressed with orange roasted fennel and lentils, or opt for a lighter catch-of-the-day served with local green bean salad and chermoula herb sauce.
For additional Christmas cheer for a proper Christmas “cheers,” there will also be a special holiday-themed cocktail by bar lead Robert Bidigare called Christmas in Paradise. Priced at $14, this craft cocktail is made with St. George Terroir Gin, Breckenridge Pine Bitter Liqueur, hibiscus simple syrup, lemon juice, and orange blossom water gently poured in a coupe.
